BRANTH's lead-free rust protection red lead can be used universally as a primer and filler.

Color: orange, matt.

If you want to prime and paint immediately in RAL colors, then BRANTHO -KORRUX "3in1" better suited.

Lead-free red lead does not contain zinc, chromate or xylene!

Red lead is characterized by short drying times: at 20º C / 65% rel. Humidity dust-dry after approx. 30 minutes, touch-proof after approx. 90 minutes and completely dry after 24 hours. Please do not force-dry.

Yield:
Calculated approx. 9.3 m² for 60 µm or 18.6 m² for 30 µm. However, one coat enables higher layer thicknesses, so the practical consumption is approx. 0.15 liters per m² (750 ml is sufficient for approx. 5 m², 1 liter for approx. 6.6 m²).

BRANTH's amount of rust protection can be applied to 1-component and 2-component leveling compounds. The suitability of the leveling compounds from third-party manufacturers must always be checked by the user himself. Reworking with 1-component leveling compounds is possible from the following day. The overworking with 2-component leveling compounds should take place after 1 to 2 weeks at the earliest, because the rust protection red lead is dissolved, which ensures a good bond, but requires careful work. Brantho-Korrux "2-Kompo" is better suited for quick reworking with 2-component fillers.

Processing instructions:

Suitable paint carriers are iron and steel structures that are free of rust, rolled skin and loose layers of paint.
Can be used on surface rust, surfaces that have been de-rusted by hand and damp-blasted surfaces.
Very good adhesion on intact, not loose old coatings. The substrate must be clean, dry and stable.
Application by brushing and rolling:
undiluted in delivery form or with minimal addition of thinner.

Airless spraying:

Filling:

Reworking with 1-component leveling compounds is possible from the following day. 2-component leveling compounds should be applied after 1 to 2 weeks at the earliest. In the case of 2-component leveling compounds, the red lead is dissolved, which ensures a good bond, but requires careful work. Can be painted over:

With other 1-component intermediate or top paints, BRANTH' s rust protection red lead can be painted over after 1 to 2 hours without sanding. In the case of 2-component intermediate and top coats from other manufacturers, BRANTH' s rust protection red lead can be painted over after one day or later without sanding.
